Recently, our Pumpkin class enjoyed a special outdoor Circle Time at Ikesun Park. Instead of doing their usual morning activities inside the classroom, the children gathered together outdoors to sing songs, practice self-introductions, and check the weather using the weather board.

先日、パンプキンクラスではイケサンパークで特別なアウトドア・サークルタイムを行いました。いつもは教室の中で行っている歌や自己紹介、天気ボードの活動を、みんなで公園の中で楽しみました。

The children were excited to experience familiar routines in a different environment. Singing songs outside in the fresh air created a lively atmosphere, and many children happily joined in with big voices and smiles. During self-introductions, the children practiced speaking confidently while surrounded by nature and the sounds of the park.

子どもたちは、普段の活動をいつもとは違う環境で行うことにワクワクした様子でした。外の新鮮な空気の中で歌を歌うことで、より開放的で楽しい雰囲気が生まれ、子どもたちも元気いっぱいに参加していました。自己紹介では、自然や公園の音に囲まれながら、自信を持ってお話しする姿が見られました。

Doing Circle Time outdoors also gave the children a more meaningful connection to the weather and seasons. Instead of only talking about whether it was sunny, cloudy, or windy, the children could directly feel the breeze, warmth, and sounds around them. These hands-on experiences help deepen their understanding of the natural world.

また、外でサークルタイムを行うことで、季節や天気をより身近に感じることができました。「晴れ」「くもり」「風がある」などを話すだけでなく、実際に風を感じたり、日差しの暖かさを体験したりすることで、自然への理解がより深まります。

Outdoor activities like this also support children’s social and emotional development. By practicing familiar routines in a new setting, the children build flexibility, confidence, and independence. Sharing these experiences together also strengthens their sense of community and connection with one another.

このような屋外活動は、子どもたちの社会性や感情面の成長にもつながります。いつもと違う場所で普段のルーティンに取り組むことで、柔軟性や自信、自立心を育むことができます。また、みんなで経験を共有することで、クラスとしてのつながりも深まっています。
