Every day in our Pre-Pre class is filled with meaningful moments of discovery. Although our youngest learners are only around 1.5 years old, they are already developing important skills through play, exploration, stories, music, and warm interactions with their teachers. Each activity is carefully designed to nurture curiosity while helping children build confidence in a safe and supportive environment.

プリプリクラスでは、毎日が新しい発見の連続です。1歳半頃の子どもたちは、遊びや探究活動、絵本、音楽、そして先生との温かな関わりを通して、さまざまな力を育んでいます。一つひとつの活動は、安心できる環境の中で好奇心を引き出し、自信を育てることを大切にしながら行われています。

Language development is woven naturally into each day. During story time, teachers encourage children to point to pictures, identify familiar objects, listen to simple questions, and begin expressing themselves through words and gestures. These shared reading experiences help build vocabulary, strengthen listening skills, and foster a love of books from an early age.

言葉の発達は、毎日の活動の中に自然に取り入れられています。絵本の時間には、先生と一緒に絵を指さしたり、知っているものの名前を言ったり、簡単な質問に耳を傾けたりしながら、自分の気持ちや考えを少しずつ言葉やジェスチャーで表現する力を育てています。こうした読み聞かせの時間は、語彙を増やし、聞く力を養うとともに、本に親しむ気持ちを育んでいます。

Hands-on learning is another important part of our program. Through matching games, sensory materials, pretend play, and creative activities, children develop fine motor skills, early problem-solving abilities, and concentration. Rather than simply giving answers, teachers gently guide children as they explore, experiment, and make their own discoveries, helping them become confident and independent learners.

また、実際に手を動かして学ぶ体験も大切にしています。カード合わせや感触遊び、ごっこ遊び、制作活動などを通して、指先の巧緻性や考える力、集中力を育んでいます。先生はすぐに答えを教えるのではなく、子どもたちが自分で考え、試し、発見できるよう寄り添いながらサポートしています。

Learning also continues beyond the classroom. Regular visits to the park provide opportunities for children to strengthen their gross motor skills through climbing, balancing, walking, and playing on the swings. These outdoor experiences also help children practice following routines, listening carefully to their teachers, and developing confidence as they explore the world around them.

学びは教室の中だけではありません。公園へのお散歩では、歩く、登る、バランスを取る、ブランコで遊ぶなど、全身を使った活動を通して運動能力を伸ばしています。また、先生の話を聞いて行動したり、順番を待ったりしながら、日々の生活習慣や社会性も少しずつ身につけています。

Perhaps the most important part of our Pre-Pre classroom is the trusting relationship between children and teachers. Through smiles, encouragement, shared laughter, and patient support, our youngest learners begin to feel secure enough to try new things, communicate with others, and build friendships. These early experiences create a strong foundation for future learning and help children develop a positive attitude toward school.

そして何より大切にしているのは、子どもたちと先生との信頼関係です。笑顔で励まし合い、一緒に笑い、新しいことに挑戦する姿を温かく見守ることで、子どもたちは安心して過ごせるようになります。その安心感が、友だちとの関わりや新しいことへの挑戦につながり、これからの学びの土台を築いていきます。

Although each activity may seem small, every experience contributes to a child’s overall development. We are proud to watch our youngest learners grow in confidence, curiosity, communication, and independence each day, and we look forward to sharing many more milestones with them throughout the year.

一つひとつの活動は小さなものに見えるかもしれませんが、その積み重ねが子どもたちの大きな成長につながっています。自信や好奇心、コミュニケーション力、そして自立心を少しずつ育んでいく子どもたちの姿を、私たちはとても誇りに思っています。これからも、一人ひとりの成長を大切に見守りながら、多くの素敵な瞬間を一緒に積み重ねていきたいと思います。
