There is something special about bringing a favourite teddy bear or cuddly toy to school. 🧸 On Teddy Bear Picnic Day, Pumpkin and Peanut Classes arrived with smiles as bright as the summer sunshine, each child proudly introducing a treasured companion from home. Throughout the day, our classroom was filled with hugs, laughter, and countless opportunities to strengthen friendships while sharing meaningful moments together.

お気に入りのぬいぐるみを学校へ連れてくることは、子どもたちにとって特別な体験です。🧸 テディベアピクニックデーでは、パンプキンクラスとピーナッツクラスの子どもたちが、大切なお友だちを抱えて笑顔いっぱいで登園しました。一人ひとりが自慢のぬいぐるみを紹介し、教室は笑顔や笑い声、そして温かなふれあいに包まれた一日となりました。

Our morning began with songs, stories, and a special show-and-tell activity, where every child had the opportunity to introduce both themselves and their cuddly friend. 🎵📖 Whether it was a teddy bear, rabbit, panda, police car, or favourite character, each toy carried its own story. Listening to one another helped children build confidence while learning to respect and appreciate the interests of their classmates.

朝は歌や絵本を楽しみながら、ぬいぐるみの紹介タイムを行いました。🎵📖 テディベアだけでなく、うさぎやパンダ、パトカー、お気に入りのキャラクターなど、それぞれに大切な思い出の詰まったお友だちを紹介してくれました。友だちの話を聞き、自分のことを伝える経験を通して、自信や相手を大切にする気持ちも育まれました。

Throughout the day, the children enjoyed a variety of playful activities inspired by teddy bears. 🐻 They sang action songs, listened to heartwarming stories, created their own bear ears, and even helped “feed” a hungry teddy by choosing the correct toy vegetables. These fun experiences encouraged careful listening, communication, and kindness while making learning feel like play.

その後も、テディベアをテーマにしたさまざまな活動を楽しみました。🐻 歌を歌ったり、絵本を読んだり、かわいいくまの耳を作ったり、お腹をすかせたくまさんに野菜を食べさせるゲームにも挑戦しました。遊びを通して、よく聞く力やコミュニケーション、思いやりの心を楽しく育むことができました。

One of the sweetest moments of the day came during rest time. 💛 The classroom became wonderfully peaceful as children cuddled up beside their favourite companions for a cosy afternoon nap. Having a familiar friend nearby helped many children feel relaxed, secure, and right at home, reminding us how comforting small routines and treasured objects can be.

この日の中でも特に心温まる時間となったのは、お昼寝の時間でした。💛 子どもたちは大好きなぬいぐるみと一緒に横になり、安心した表情でゆったりと眠りにつきました。いつもそばにいる大切なお友だちが一緒にいることで、安心感に包まれながら穏やかな時間を過ごすことができました。

To finish our celebration, the children enjoyed free play with their special toys, explored our classroom kabutomushi together, and shared one final story before heading home. 🌿📚 Teddy Bear Picnic Day reminded us that learning is not only about discovering new ideas—it is also about building relationships, expressing love and kindness, and creating joyful memories that children will treasure long after the day is over.

一日の終わりには、お気に入りのおもちゃで自由に遊んだり、教室で飼っているカブトムシをみんなで観察したり、最後に心温まる絵本を楽しみました。🌿📚 テディベアピクニックデーを通して、子どもたちは新しいことを学ぶだけでなく、友だちとのつながりや思いやり、そして楽しい思い出をたくさん作ることができました。
