Recently, our Pumpkin Class children welcomed their families to their Open School. For many of our youngest learners, this was their very first opportunity to share their school environment with their parents and show them the friendships, routines, and relationships they have been building each day.

先日、パンプキンクラスではオープンスクールを開催し、子どもたちはご家族を園へお迎えしました。最年少クラスであるパンプキンクラスの子どもたちにとって、ご家族に普段の園生活や友だちとの関わり、毎日の積み重ねを見てもらう初めての機会となりました。

Open School is a special event because it allows families to experience a glimpse of their child’s world at school. While it can sometimes be difficult for parents to imagine what happens during the day after saying goodbye in the morning, events like this help bring those experiences to life.

オープンスクールは、子どもたちが園でどのように過ごしているのかを実際に感じていただける特別な機会です。朝の別れの後、子どもたちがどのように過ごしているのかを想像することは難しいこともありますが、このような行事を通して園での姿を身近に感じていただくことができます。

Throughout the event, the children participated alongside their parents, teachers, and friends. We were delighted to see their smiles, excitement, and growing confidence as they shared familiar activities and interacted with the important adults in their lives. The joyful atmosphere reminded us how meaningful strong connections between home and school can be.

当日は、子どもたちは保護者の皆さまや先生、友だちと一緒に活動に参加しました。いつも親しんでいる活動を共有しながら、嬉しそうな表情や楽しそうな笑顔、そして成長した姿をたくさん見せてくれました。家庭と園がつながることで生まれる温かい雰囲気を改めて感じることができました。

For young children, feeling secure and supported by both their family and their teachers is an important foundation for learning. When children see the important people in their lives working together, they gain a stronger sense of confidence and belonging. Open School provides a wonderful opportunity to strengthen this partnership and celebrate each child’s progress.

幼い子どもたちにとって、ご家族と先生の両方に見守られているという安心感は、成長や学びの土台となります。自分を支えてくれる大人たちがつながっていることを感じることで、子どもたちはさらに安心して挑戦したり、自分らしさを発揮したりすることができます。オープンスクールは、その大切なつながりを深め、一人ひとりの成長を共に喜ぶ機会でもあります。

We are incredibly proud of our Pumpkin Class children. They brought so much energy, joy, and enthusiasm to the day, and we loved sharing this special experience with their families.
